A fun evening with fellow mommies is one thing I cannot think to miss out, so when I was invited for this event by Pampers and Blog Adda I had to be there. On 22nd September 2015, in an event dominated by super moms and journalists, Pampers organised a mega sneak peak for Delhi print and digital media.
As it happens in most cases, I had to take up a metro train with more than 15 small stations in between before I reached Taj Vivanta, New Delhi. Thankfully I had an interesting book kept in my handbag to read and pass the time. Now Taj Vivanta Hotel located near Khan Market was formerly known as Ambassador Hotel so after the epic ride in metro train this was another challenge as the auto-rickshaw drivers were confused about the name of hotel and its location. Finally, with the help of a Delhite, who guided the auto-rickshaw driver I reached the hotel well before the program began.
As expected it was a by and large women exclusive affair, with a few men visible here and there. The next thing which stole my attention was the beautiful stage and backdrop made only for this event with lots of cute baby pictures with nappy on.
The event was hosted by the gorgeous Ankita and denim T-shirt clad Dimple both representing team BA. Another team representing brand ‘Pampers’ from Procter & Gamble was also busy in perfecting each bit of the event. After the quick registration and meeting up with friends it was time to settle down and gear up for the event.
There were a couple of surprises that I had in the event. The first was that program was being conducted by Mandira Bedi. (I and most fellow bloggers were clueless about this.) Being a super mom herself, she looked fabulously elegant. After a brief introduction she called upon three eminent panelist namely Tara Sharma Saluja, Ajita Seethpalli, & Pampers R & D expert- Dr. WeiSing Long on to the stage.
The three panelists discussed about how a good sleep is directly related to a dry and soft diaper. Sleep in turn has a great impact on the overall well being and growth of the child. Tara Sharma Saluja shared videos of her children and her experience of using Pampers for both her sons.
Next was the time for us, the audience, to engage and feel the difference in softness of three varied diapers and vote for the softest one without having actually seen the diaper. The result indicated a lopsided win of a diaper which was eventually unveiled to be ‘Pamper Premium Care Pants’.
During the course of event there were several tests performed to show how the new ‘Premium Care Pants’ have been thoughtfully made to be softest on the child’s skin. The major features of the new Pampers Premium Care Pants range are upto 12 Hrs. of dryness, lotion to protect babies skin from harsh pH levels of urine and stool, all around softness while being perfectly fitted, breathable material and wetness indicator.
Also as a dedication to the mother – child relation there was a very touching video shown as the event headed to its conclusion. Last but not the least it was time for Q & A, networking, clicking selfies, high tea and goodie bag distribution.
Overall a great event and looking forward for the launch of Pampers Premium Care Pants range of diapers scheduled in October 2015. (Review of this product 🙂 )
