Across the globe there are about 422 million people who have diabetes.[1] In India alone there are more than 77 Mn. people who are living with diabetes. Among the two major forms of diabetes, Type 2 diabetes is more common than Type 1.     To be honest, I too wasn’t aware of this much until both my parents were diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. It is important to pay attention to our health and eating habits.
