A popular quote goes like this –
Life is too short to worry about little things;
enjoy what you have today,
not what you might get tomorrow.
Many of us like this quote and say it time and again. But in real life, do we really practice this? Perhaps not, we spend all our lives worrying about what’s next in the future and how will we deal with it? The quote is then best left to have a fate of becoming one’s facebook cover photo or laptop wallpaper.
Talking about myself, I have come across only a few people till now, who are truly living their lives according to this quote. What does it take to live this quote? Is it money, planning or passion? I feel a person can truly live his or her life to the fullest and without worrying by combining passion with proactive planning.
So here are the top five things I would like to do if I were #BefikarUmarBhar:
#1.
Explore the World
I love traveling to new destinations and meet new people. Travel not only brings about a break in my monotonous life, but it brings a fresh perspective of seeing people and understanding life in a deeper sense. So this has to be the numero uno in my to do list. Sometimes I feel Columbus was such a lucky guy without much constraint he sailed and look what he discovered. I wish there were no restraints of national boundaries, money or settling at one place.
#2.
Eat, Eat & Eat
I am an out-and-out foodie. Given a choice I can spend a major portion of my life eating. This is also one of the main reason behind my love for traveling. If there were no negative after effects of excessive eating on health I would love to continue doing it in a loop.
#3.
Learn Baking
Baking has always been close to my heart. After all, many good dishes are a result of this culinary technique. I am fine baker myself but still lack a professional expertise in it. I want to learn more intricate styles of baking from celebrated and expert chefs from around the globe. Post learning I wish to set up a restaurant of my own.
#4.
Attain the Glorious 50 Kg. Mark Again
Becoming a mother brings with it a lot of happiness, but it also comes with a few hardships. One being the additional kilos that the to be mother puts on. So one of my wishes is to return my weight back to the glorious 50 Kg. mark. Diet is not my cup of tea so this aspiration seems a bit difficult but surely I will make it happen.:)
#5.
A Bike Ride from Delhi to Ladakh
I have been to Ladakh once, but I feel there’s a lot of difference in the adventure level if one compares visiting the place by flight versus riding a bike. I want to drive on some of the most difficult motorable passes of the world and then experience nature’s marvelous extravaganza called Ladakh.
So what’s your wish list? Do share in your thoughts.
