Friends I have a problem whenever hunger strikes me, I am filled with the insatiable urge of eating vivid lip-smacking dishes. From extra-cheese filled pizzas or pastas to indulgent desserts everything delicious comes to my mind. I know, I am not the only one that has this happening with myself some of you also must be experiencing the same thing. Honestly, I feel like a kid with such hunger pangs.
So for all people with a bachha like hunger, here is the recipe for quick snack/ breakfast idea called ‘Crepe’. Recipe adapted from: AllRecipes.com.
Ingredients:
All-purpose Flour: 1 cup
Eggs: 3 Eggs
Milk: 2 cups
Clarified Butter: 2 Tbsp.
Salt: a pinch
Powdered Sugar: 2 Tsp.
Vanilla Essence: 1 Tsp.
Oil or clarified butter for shallow frying.
Method:
  • Beat eggs and milk together in a bowl. In another bowl sift  flour, salt and sugar.
  • After the egg mixture is light and fluffy, add the clarified butter and vanilla essence. Now blend the dry flour mixture into the egg mix until a smooth paste is formed.
  • Heat a frying pan with little oil and pour in some batter and now by rotating the pan in one direction allow the batter to spread evenly in a circular shape and be appropriately thin. flip the crepe to other side once the first side is light brown. Crepe will be ready once both sides are light brown and little crisp. (Don’t excessively heat the pan before putting in the batter.)
  • Serve hot with chocolate syrup, maple syrup, honey or any jam.
Enjoy!
