Most Indians might have heard of this phrase some or the other time in our lives but when our current Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi, mentioned this phrase to a Japanese reporter saying that “this is in our DNA, this is in our genetic system”; I thought, whether most of us still really believe in this concept or is it becoming less of a priority for us? At that very moment, I knew that I was guilty and so this idea struck me for bringing a smile on somebody from my world family.
A few days before reading about this quote given by our Prime Minister, as I was driving my way back to my home I stopped to buy some flower pots for house balcony. A little girl was selling them and so adeptly that I was impressed and puzzled at the same time seeing her selling skill.

Once the money transaction completed between us and I started towards my car, she called me and said – “Ma’am if you have discarded old winter clothes then please give it to me. I have two sisters and one brother so we don’t have enough clothes to cope in the extreme cold days of Delhi.” I looked sideways to see one of her almost two-year old sister. She was in tattered clothes with running nose and empty eyes. I felt what is the possible future of such children who are in plentiful numbers in India? Is there any hope for them? Will they ever be able to live a decent life?
So my plan this Diwali is to make few of these underprivileged children smile. With some winter clothes, some basic books for them I will take with me McCain French fries, Veggie Burger and chocolates.
I have seen such children yearning for delicious food like these outside many malls & eateries and so know that sharing this food with them will surely bring a smile on their faces and give me some moments of true happiness.
McCain French Fries and Veggie Burger are very easy to prepare (just deep fry them and they are ready to eat) at home, healthy for children and guess what they all love McCain Snacks! All these new things will make them forget all the problems in their lives momentarily and give them few moments of immaculate happiness, filling them with new hope and renewed determination to come in the main stream.
