‘Good food’ for me is the second name for happiness. So when I am cooking or eating tasty food, I am a happy saint!
Recently, I saw an advertisement of ‘Miele Lounge’ – a store displaying all home appliance from the house of Miele India, opening in Gurgaon. I had heard all praises about this brand from my friends living abroad and seen them go gaga about its various thoughtfully developed appliances. Only a bit of recollection related to this brand name compelled me to visit ‘Miele Lounge’ located at M.G. road Gurgaon.
‘Miele Lounge’ has an array of products that are built to touch each sphere of daily life within a luxury Indian home. From intelligent washing machines to varied kitchen solutions, Miele Lounge boasts of having it all.
But what caught my attention was its built-in range of baking and allied appliances. I couldn’t hide my eyes popping out and jaw dropping expressions while going through different kitchen appliances like Combination Ovens, Coffee Maker and Wine Conditioners.
Within the oven range itself there is 4-5 vivid types of ovens just to give the user a more customize usage experience according to one’s needs namely Microwave combination ovens, Steam ovens, Steam combination oven, Microwave ovens & more. Plus the oven come with a ‘Food Probe’ which tests the meat or other foods etc. and wirelessly communicates with the oven that in turn decides the cooking time giving a more perfectly cooked food; without having to check the process in between.
Further, the ovens come with ‘The Moisture Plus’ function which sprinkles the right amount of water needed for baking food like breads etc. or for cooking tender & juicy non-vegetarian preparations. Apart from these exclusive functions, ovens come with pre-set menu option with add-on information about the food and their pyrolytic cleaning process is super easy unlike other readily available ovens.
I must admit here that the Wine Conditioning system is first of its kind that I have come across in India. The system itself is equal to a single door refrigerator commonly found. It comes with a sommelier set within the unit and is designed to support precise temperature control and humidity plus it is vibration free to enhance the shelf life of different wines. Surely a consumer product most Delhite would love to have in their homes, isn’t it!
In the words of my husband if ever I happened to get castaway in a lonely island the one thing that could help me survive would be an unlimited supply of ‘coffee’. So naturally the Coffee Maker machine was bound to draw my attention upon itself. Both the built-in as well as standalone coffee maker machines took me on a joyride with the sheer thought of the various combinations and vivid flavors of coffee I could prepare for myself and guests coming at home.
Even the other kitchen appliances like ‘kadai’ shaped induction hobs, powerful chimney also made me dream of having these appliances some day in my kitchen. I said ‘dream’ purely because of the price bracket of these appliances which is best suited to ultra-luxury homes. Nevertheless I am sure –
