Kriti Movie (Short Film)- A Viewer’s Review

It is the season of psychological thrillers and when I heard about his short film done by Manoj Vajpayee, I could no longer hold myself and instantly hit the click button for watching this YouTube film.
This Movie and its director, Shirish Kunder got into a controversy as the film’s story line ans certain scenes having striking similarity to a Nepalese short film named ‘Bob’.

What Worked for Me:

  • The short and crisp plot.
  • Direction of the movie was very good.
  • Manoj Vajpayee, Radhika Apte & Nisha Sharma. All the leading actors have played their role quite convincingly.

What Didn’t Work for Me:

  • Well I so wish I could get to see more of this brilliantly directed stuff. So longer duration of the movie would have given me few more minutes of pure thrill.

Story:

Sapan (Manoj Vajpayee) is love struck with girl named ‘Kriti’ (Nisha Mishra) and Dr. Kalpana (Radhika Apte), a psychiatrist, tries to help him figure out if she is for real or a figment of his mind. Would she be able to do that?

My Verdict:

4.5 Stars out of 5. Taking into consideration that it is a YouTube release, the movie turns out to be a real spine chilling thriller with a genuine film making effort given towards it. For 18 minutes flat you are taken into the world of Sapan. I watched the movie on mobile with ear plugs on may be that added the extra zing of spice while watching this pure psychopath thriller. It is a must watch!! Do watch it here..
