He came, he sang & he won hearts!
Supporting him were musicians playing different musical instruments. He began singing with his very popular song from the film ‘Lucky’ and followed by the title track of film Salaam-E-Ishq.
He is a singer known for his sometimes naughty sometimes serious style during live performances, then how could the audience here miss these tit-bits.
At one instance between singing, he started to engage the audience by asking them to sing along and in the other instance while singing a song he started a small jugalbandi kind of act with the musician playing dholak in a very dramatic fashion.
As he is a one of the fastest world renowned Pianist, he gave a small performance on keyboard as well.
Some of the romantic and sufi songs that he performed here in front of a totally captivated audience were:
Bhar do Jholi, his latest hit song from Bajrangi Bhaijaan movie
Kabhi to Nazar Milao from his mega-hit private album
Chain Mujhe Aaye na
Ishq Hota Nahi Sabhi k liye from the Bollywood film Joggers Park
Nur-e-Khuda from Shahrukh Khan starer My Name is Khan
Lift Kara de from his private album
Apart from this for few minutes he also spoke his feelings on becoming an India citizen and his love for the country & its people.
Soon after he started singing, the concert which was meant to be an invite only event, saw audience number tripling as compared to the initial phase since people visiting the mall also stood and listened to his melodious voice.
Overall the concert was a super success and the people of Delhi NCR were mesmerized & enjoyed the evening with Adnan Sami to the core!
Talking about myself, I got to see the star singer this close.. you know this close.. and watching him perform live gave me a goose bump experience!!

I liked his songs but the thing I liked most about him is his fingers on piano. Adnan is superbly talented. 🙂
