“Aye meri zameen afsoss nahi
Jo tere liye sau dard sahe
Mehfooz rahe teri aan sada
Chaahe jaan meri yeh rahe na rahe…”
Teri Mitti song by Manoj Muntashir

The life of a soldier in movies is often portrayed to be heroic to a larger-than-life extent. Well, in reality the lives of these men & women cladded in green & khaki patched uniforms is far more challenging than the glamour attached with their jobs. Delta 105, Manesar, Gurgaon, the brainchild of Major (retd.) Dinesh Sharma is a sincere attempt to bring commoners like us who are also called as ‘Civilians’ in army parlance to experience the real-deal behind a ‘fauji’ life. We were here for a very special International Women’s Day meet up organized for Women Travel Blog & Writers by Mr. Anil Oraw, Regional Director (North), India Tourism Delhi, Ministry of Tourism.
