The Higher (read in latitude) it goes the fonder I become of this movie..Seeing the promos I wanted to watch this movie in theater and so it materialized..
The film is quite an attractive offer #Imitiyaz Ali, A.R. Rehman, #Randeep Hooda & unusually paired #Alia Bhatt.
The story is rather predictable perhaps this journey is actually better than its end. The emotions be it angst, happiness of freedom, comedy, pain every single emotion is depicted in its truest form
Randeep Hooda was as usual excellent. The supporting actors also positively contributed with their bit of acting. A. R. Rehman’s songs are gems in themselves. What to say about Imtiyaz Ali? Simply brilliant boss! I also feel this guy has some karmic connection with the hills, whenever he shoots there, the movie raises his directorial level. However, the limelight stealer here was Alia Bhatt.. This girl is surely Super Star of the coming years. She looks beautiful, she’s confident and her acting is a hawa tight performance!
What worked for me was the acting, the narration, the emotions, and the connection of feeling attached to some person to the soul level and loosing him/her.
What didn’t work for me was the speed of movie at few instances which was slow.
Story: Story is simple. Alia gets kidnapped and then the chase cum run starts.
Overall a must watch movie for this week surely in your near by cinema!
