Finding a right gadget suiting one’s lifestyle is as important as buying the gadget at right price. After all gadgets like laptop,mobile phones etc. have become a part and parcel of our daily routine. Perhaps most of us would agree that we cannot imagine living without them in present day. So why not consider our lifestyle requirements while investing a huge sum of money in buying a gadget.
For example from last few days I am on a look out for a good replacement of my Acer Aspire One laptop as its battery has gone for a toss. Also I have kind of got bored of using it. This is when I got to see two brand new gadgets introduced by Asus – ASUS EeeBook X205TA & ASUS All In One PC ET2040. ASUS, the company is relatively new in Indian mobile and computer market; however, it is a trusted brand and a leader in the same segment in its home country Taiwan. Adding to it as I am already using Acer Laptop which is also a Taiwan company I have no doubts about the quality and durability of products from the house of ASUS.
When I see ASUS EeeBook X205TA, I find many of its features that are matching my lifestyle like:
- Being Light Weight: This feature is the most important among all other features packed inside this compact laptop. Light weight makes it extremely easy to carry the laptop along while going anywhere outside for long duration or while commuting in a fully packed public transport like Delhi Metro.
- Long Battery Life: Having a battery life of 12 hours for web browsing and 13 hours of music playing further proves to be an icing on the cake. For me the longer the battery life is, the longer is my freedom of using it unplugged (I hate the web of wires).
- Microsoft Office 365 with one year subscription: Only a person like me using a laptop without a proper Microsoft Office can understand the joy of having this feature. Until now thanks to WordPress, Gmail and other similar internet options I was just managing my writing requirements. Probably buying this laptop will bail me out of this awkward situation.
- Price: Being home bound at present, I do not intent to invest heavily on buying a new laptop for myself. So the price of ASUS EeeBook X205TA that’s Rs. 14,999 on Flipkart adequately suits my pocket.
On the contrary when I glance at the features of ASUS All In One PC ET2040,
I am left little confused; whether to buy the previous one or this one. It has sleek design which would save space at home. Further its hand gesture control would give me novelty in its use and the fast responsiveness which would definitely help me while I am editing photographs on Adobe Photoshop, making collages etc.
How I wish I could have both! Well I am planning to have the first one meanwhile any one of my reader wishing to do charity can gift me the latter one. 🙂 So coming back to the point, have you considered your lifestyle requirements before buying a gadget? Do write in to me..
