5 reasons why you should watch ‘Badlapur’ this week..

101px-Badlapur_PosterBadlapur released on 20th February 2015 is the first action-thriller movie of Varun Dhawan. Here are five reasons why you should go and watch Badlapur this week in a multiplex near you.
#1. Varun Dhawan:
Has Varun Dhawan managed to pull off a serious character portrayal? Yes and if I may say so, brilliantly! His age transition is very well reflected in his looks that aptly change with the timeline of the movie. Before seeing the movie, I wasn’t sure whether he would suit the role as a matter of fact I didn’t want to have a similar koi-toh-bachao type feeling as it happened during Bang-Bang. :p
#2. Story:
I have always believed that a good story is the soul of any movie. Based on real-life incidents, the story is simple yet it has been fantastically narrated. The message of change for good towards the end is a clear winner. Badlapur is a story of an aam adami who loses his entire family in a life-changing incident and then takes his revenge spanning 15 years.
#3. Remaining Cast:
Other than the lead pair, polished actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi, Vinay Pathak are among the other star cast of the film. Each of them has nailed their respective character portrayals however I would have liked it more if Vinay Pathak’s character was dealt better.
#4. Limited Songs:
For an action-thriller film after seeing this movie, I was of the opinion that the limited number of songs in the film went in favor to the story narration. The songs ‘Jee karda’ and ‘Jeena’ that has been sung by Atif Aslam are already a hit.
#5. No Big Release This Week:
Badlapur has already got the second highest opening in terms of box office collection among movies released so far in 2015. So though it is already time for a change in multiplexes but a lack of big banner films getting released this week, Badlapur is definitely going to reap its benefits.
My last thoughts on Badlapur, ah..yes! don’t miss the beginning, it’s very yummy.
