Talking about second chances in life makes me remember the famous poem, ‘Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening’ by Robert Frost.
Especially the lines –
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
I wonder if the horseman ever got a chance to visit those beautiful woods he is talking about in this poem again? As a matter of fact do we get a second chance for living our lives the way we want to? There are some things we all cherish to fulfill one day. They may be a part of that hundred percent result for which each of us strive all our lives.
I am no different and have wishes that keep getting postponed with newer responsibilities of life. But then who knows what lies in future? Will life permit us to live those dreams or will we die with those dreams in heart?
Second chances are rare rather in my opinion miracle like. But if life does give me a second chance and permits me to do things of my interest right away then I would like to do the following:
#1. Travel around the world:
and miles to go before I sleep..
I love the verses of a this song Ilahi from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani..
Shaamein malang see, Raatein surang see,
Baaghi udaan pe hi, naa jaane kyun Ilahi mera jee aaye aaye..
Evenings are like as if they are mad, nights like some tunnel. I don’t know why on rebel flights only, Oh, God! my heart comes.
The song has been shot in different cities of world which makes my spirits soar high. I wish if I could travel like a nomad without any boundaries and without any limitations. This would be an ideal state for me.
#2. Witness Northern Lights:

I wish to experience this unique celestial beauty. Also known as Aurora Borealis, it is a limited edition as against the beautiful sun shine.
#3. Sail for 100 days on a Cruise:

Inspired from one of my favorite movies Life of Pi, I would love to sail for 100 days on a cruise possibly around Solomon Islands. The water attracts me and living life over it 24X7, the thought itself is fascinating.
I am hopeful that life would surprise me with the miracle of second chance till then do ponder over your bucket list in case you get a second chance.
