In mid-1990s, who would have thought that at some point of time in future, mobile to be precise smartphones would be touching so many aspects of our lives. I got my first mobile in 2002, it was huge handset and the first network carrier I had was none other than Airtel. It was one of the foremost network carriers in India. I must say its service was very good as compared to the other available or budding network carriers.
Today there are many different network carriers now operating in India. The tussle is huge for the number one spot, the largest number of customers, best service etc. In due course of time, I had to drift away from Airtel purely because though its services were excellent in my hometown, Indore and my state, Madhya Pradesh but on reaching Pune for my studies etc. I found Airtel network and its services rather poor than the competitors.
Another problem I had to face and still persists with not just this particular vendor but many other service providers in India is if just in case you have a query regarding some feature or a complaint of service etc. one needs to go through a long trail of phone calls to customer care. The customer is literally tossed from one phone number to another and by the time the complaint is resolved the customer loses the information about previous calls.
However, Airtel has come up with a mobile app to work upon all their shortcomings and bridge the gap between their customers and themselves. I recently downloaded this app to check its practicability and I found these key features which would be quite useful to its customers:

This is a feature that all would love to use. In this era of smartphones and seamless internet connectivity who in this world wants to reach out to a laptop for doing mobile recharges or for doing bill payments. This app provides a faster way of doing the payments with utmost safety, thanks to the PCIDSS certification. It also gives the user real time bill tracking facility to check the status.
Airtel Surprises – Shake your way..
After all, we all like surprises. So with each recharge that one does through this #MyAirtelApp there will be some surprise coupons coming in which can be easily redeemed for shopping, food, wellness and entertainment.
