This time around as a pat of Time Fresh Face 2016 Delhi Chapter, a camera phone photography workshop was held with none other than ace photographer Dabboo Ratnani. Aditi Arya, Femina Miss India 2015 also marked her presence in the workshop. Mobile photography is the latest trend in the lifestyle space. Smartphones like the Oppo F1s selfie expert with its powerful camera quality suffices the role of a camera. The photo quality of such camera phones is as good as a common man would get from a camera. The workshop with Dabboo Ratnani aimed at getting better than usual photographs and selfies from a camera phone.
During the event, Dabboo Ratnani gave a lot of tips for getting better photographs and selfies by using a camera phone. Aditi Arya addressed the Delhi contestants and media about her opinion with the growing trend of mobile photography and spoke about her modeling career. She gave precious advice to the Times Fresh Face contestants from her own personal experience.
Here are some of the tips given by the man, Dabboo Ratnani himself:
Try different effects given in phone camera like the Bbouquet feature in new Oppo A57. This effect blurs out the background and just focuses on the main subject.
A colorful background should be used for making an interesting photograph.
Try and go in a Zoom In mode than keeping it wide angle. This will ensure considerable focus on the main subject than the other stuff.
For personal shots try different lighting conditions like dim light, backlight – where a little light falls on hair gives a different perspective to the photo.
Most importantly in front of the mirror check which profile looks better on you and then adopt that for photographs.
